It’s difficult to capture the magic of each session in just a social media caption. So, I started a blog! To tell each story in more detail, walk you through the BTS stuff, and share a few more images than social media will allow.

Even with the cloudy skies and on/off showers all day long, Sydney & Joe’s wedding was picture perfect!

We (photographers) loves a good cloudy day (especially for an outdoor wedding) because that means we can shoot anywhere. When there is full sun, you have to find the shade and sometimes the shade doesn’t fall at the spot you want to take your photo.

What’s even better then a cloudy wedding day? One that ends with a gorgeous sunset and that’s EXACTLY how Sydney & Joe’s wedding was.

Us photographer’s LOOOVVEEE a good sunset because that light is just magical. Add in a beautiful bride/groom all dressed up and looking their best. It’s a “chefs kiss.”

Lastly, their venue was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. We didn’t have to go far to find beautiful landscape for all the photos and the reception space was straight out of a magazine. I really hope this isn’t the last wedding I get to photograph at Mystical Rose Gardens.
